Voters in Computer village, Lagos State have voiced their grievances against the abuse of electoral laws which are being violated by political candidates in the ongoing governornship and house of assembly election.

Videos obtained by PUNCH METRO showed a yet-to-be-identified man who stated that some politicians have formed the habit of showing their ballot papers to other voters after they had cast their votes.

The man stated that when the politicians were questioned about the act, they defended themselves by referring to the president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), whom they stated did the same during the presidential election.

“When we questioned them over this act, they said they are doing it because Buhari did it”, he said.

Recall that Premium Politics reported that Buhari after casting his vote in Daura during the last presidential election showed the crowd who he voted for.
