The Lagos State Building Control Agency has began the demolition of marked illegal buildings on the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Recall that the LAGOS State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu directed the demolition of three two-storey buildings on Banana Island following the collapse of a seven-storey building in the area.
Following the directives, the agency on Thursday through its official Twitter handle stated that it had started the demolition exercise.
“Banana Island: LASBCA Begins Removal of Illegal Structures,” it tweeted.
