La Liga: Barcelona thrash Real Madrid 4-3 in epic El Clasico

Barcelona pulled off a thrilling comeback to defeat Real Madrid 4-3 in a gripping El Clasico clash at the Montjuic Olympic Stadium on Sunday, with Raphinha netting twice to help erase a two-goal deficit and push the Catalans closer to clinching the LaLiga crown.

The dramatic win sees Barcelona extend their lead at the summit to seven points over second-placed Real Madrid.

With only three games left to play, a single victory will now be enough to secure their 28th Spanish league title.

Real Madrid came out firing, racing to a two-goal lead thanks to a brace from Kylian Mbappe.

But Barcelona quickly turned the tide as Eric Garcia, Lamine Yamal, and Raphinha struck in rapid succession, three goals in just 15 minutes, to flip the match on its head.

Raphinha added his second just before the break, capitalizing on a critical mistake by Lucas Vazquez.

Although Mbappe completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute to give Madrid a lifeline, the defending champions couldn’t mount a comeback, leaving them staring at the prospect of a trophyless season.
