Kwara opens bursary applications November 2

The Kwara State Government has approved its 2026 bursary scheme for eligible indigenes studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria, with applications scheduled to begin on Monday, November 2.

The Kwara State Scholarship Board announced the approval in a statement on Saturday, saying Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq authorised the intervention to provide financial support to students of the state and ease the burden of higher education on their families.

According to the board, the application portal will open on Monday, November 2, and close on Monday, November 16, 2026.

It urged qualified students to apply within the stipulated period through the official portal, scholarship.kwarastate.gov.ng, and ensure that all information provided during registration was accurate and verifiable.
