João Félix has officially signed with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr on a permanent transfer from Chelsea, agreeing to a two-year contract.
While the club has not revealed the financial terms of the deal, reports suggest the fee could climb as high as €50 million ($58 million).
“Let’s win together … Joao Felix is a Nasraoui,” Al Nassr announced on X, sharing a short clip of the Portuguese striker.
“I’m here to have fun and win together,” the 25-year-old forward said.
Earlier in the summer, former club Benfica had expressed interest in bringing Félix back to Lisbon, but negotiations with Chelsea did not materialize into an agreement.
Félix has now linked up with his new teammates at their preseason base in Saalfelden, Austria, as preparations ramp up for the new campaign.
At Al Nassr, he’ll be managed by fellow Portuguese Jorge Jesus, appointed earlier this month and will line up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently extended his stay with the club by another two years.
After underwhelming spells with Chelsea and AC Milan, Félix is aiming for a fresh start in Saudi Arabia.
He returned to Chelsea on a seven-year contract in August 2024 following an earlier loan stint during the 2022–23 season, during which he netted 11 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
A loan move to AC Milan last season saw him score three times in 19 games.
Al Nassr are pushing for a stronger title challenge this season after finishing third in the league last term.
