The 2023 presidential aspirant under the Labour Party, Peter Obi, said he is not desperate to become Nigeria’s president.
He explained that he is rather desperate to see Nigeria work.
The former Anambra State Governor said this on X, former Twitter on Sunday night.
While deliberating on the economic status of the continent, he explained that Africa has no reason to be poor.
He opined that Africa is the only continent that has a future due to the rich deposit of natural resources.
Obi said, ” I am not desperate to be president of Nigeria, I am desperate to see Nigeria work.
“Africa has no reason to be poor. The only continent of the world that we can say has a future is Africa.
” This is because we have all the deposits and natural resources enough to be prosperous.”
