Senegal captain, Sadio Mane, has confirmed when he plans to end his international career, following a triumphant campaign at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Teranga Lions secured the continental crown after a tense 1–0 victory over hosts Morocco in the final, held Sunday evening at Rabat’s Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

Mane was named AFCON 2025 Player of the Tournament, claiming the accolade for the second time in his career, having previously won it at the 2021 edition.
