ICYMI: EeZee conceptz MD retracts allegation against Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo

In a dramatic twist to the months-long controversy, Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz Limited, Nancy Nnadi—widely known as Coach Nancy—has withdrawn her earlier accusations against popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo Blessed.

The retraction, shared on Coach Nancy’s verified Instagram page on Sunday, comes after months of legal dispute and public scrutiny following her February post alleging Chinwo’s involvement in financial impropriety linked to the label’s internal conflict.

“On the advice of my lawyer, and for the sake of peace and the love of God, I retract my earlier post about Minister Mercy Chinwo,” Nancy wrote in the post.

“I also pray Almighty God to perfect the ongoing settlement process being facilitated by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”

In the initial claim, Coach Nancy had alleged that Chinwo was involved in the diversion of funds during a contractual disagreement between the music minister and the company’s founder, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, also known as EeZee Tee.

Mercy Chinwo, through her legal counsel led by human rights lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi, swiftly rejected the allegations and demanded a retraction. According to her legal team, “compelling documentary evidence including emails and verified payment receipts were presented to prove her innocence and uphold her professional integrity.”

The legal response emphasized that Chinwo had no involvement in any financial misdeeds, and the offensive content constituted defamation, prompting demands for a public apology and the deletion of the original post.

While the matter has stirred significant public attention, both parties appear to be leaning toward a peaceful resolution, with respected clergy mediating what has been described as an “ongoing settlement process.”
