Nigerian celebrity disc jockey and Mavin Records star, DJ Big N, has shared a moving testimony about how he believes God healed him from severe nerve damage after he joined Pastor Jerry Eze’s online prayer platform, NSPPD.
In a video shared online, Big N, whose real name is Nonso Temisan Ajufo, recounted that his health troubles began after he survived a robbery attack in Johannesburg, South Africa, in January 2025.
The DJ was shot in the leg after armed men ambushed the vehicle he was travelling in.
Recalling the incident, he said, “On Sunday, January 12th, a night out turned into both the worst and most teachable experience of my life. I went out with some friends to a fancy lounge in Johannesburg, SA. From there I decided to head to another club with another acquaintance. On the way, at a traffic light, we were ambushed by two cars carrying six armed men with automatic rifles.”
According to him, he tried to escape during the robbery but was shot in the leg.
“In the chaos, I tried to escape but got shot in the leg. One of the robbers put the rifle to my head and demanded my watch, which I struggled to remove, along with my chain and other jewelry,” he said.
“The bullet had passed through my leg, narrowly missing a major artery and bone. Doctors described this as miraculous.”
Although he survived the attack, Big N said he later developed serious complications, including shingles, postherpetic neuralgia and polyneuropathy, which caused severe nerve pain across his body.
He explained that he began losing sensation on the left side of his face and often felt electric shock-like pain running through his body.
He also said his body constantly burned from within because his nervous system was sending the wrong signals.
The DJ revealed that the pain became so unbearable that he could barely touch surfaces, hold a pillow or sleep comfortably, forcing him to lie on the cold floor for relief.
Big N then said his turning point came unexpectedly when fellow DJ and friend DJ Neptune sent him a link to Pastor Jerry Eze’s prayer platform.
According to him, Neptune usually sends him gossip and music-related content, so he was surprised to receive a prayer link from him.
Despite initially hesitating, he eventually joined the prayer session.
During the NSPPD broadcast, Big N said Pastor Jerry Eze mentioned a case similar to his and prayed about it directly, after which he began experiencing relief and eventually recovered.
Pastor Jerry Eze is widely known for his daily online prayer platform, NSPPD, which has attracted millions of worshippers across the world and is built around the slogan, “What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist.”
