Home-based Super Eagles skipper, Junior Nduka, has sealed a move to Iraqi topflight side, Erbil FC.

The defender put pen to paper on a three-year deal after completing his switch from Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Remo Stars.

Nduka becomes the latest big name to exit the Sky Blue Stars, following the earlier departures of Kayode Bankole, Sikiru Alimi, Franck Mawuena, Fabian Nworie, and Seun Ogunribide.

A commanding presence at the back, Nduka was instrumental in Remo Stars’ historic league triumph last season, earning admiration for his composure, consistency, and natural leadership qualities.

The 24-year-old also featured prominently for Nigeria at the 2024 African Nations Championship, playing every single minute of the Super Eagles’ three group stage matches.
