Borussia Dortmund secured their first Bundesliga victory of the season with a commanding 3-0 win over Union Berlin on Sunday, thanks to a brace from Serhou Guirassy.
Guirassy opened the scoring before halftime, finishing neatly from a Yan Couto cross.
He then doubled Dortmund’s lead with a delicate chip over Union goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow just before the hour mark. Felix Nmecha sealed the win in the 81st minute.
The match saw Jobe Bellingham receive treatment early on after a head clash with Union’s Andrej Ilić, but the young English midfielder was able to continue until the 70th minute.
Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino made his Dortmund debut, having joined on loan from Chelsea earlier in the week.
Dortmund had drawn their season opener 3-3 against St. Pauli last weekend, with Guirassy also finding the net.
Elsewhere, Mainz snatched a late point from Wolfsburg, with Nadiem Amiri converting a penalty to secure a 1-1 draw.
