The Committee of Indigenous Associations of Lagos State, an umbrella body of all indigenes of Lagos have endorsed the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in the state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, for the forthcoming March 11 election.

The committee made their selection ahead of the governorship election known while addressing a press conference on Wednesday.

Amongst the key speakers at the event was the father of the LP candidate, Olawale Rhodes-Vivour, who gave credence to the ruggedness of his son in getting the job done.

While speaking about his son’s valedictory service as a younger adult, he said the Principal of Gbadebo’s school commended him for helping him (the principal) achieve a great feet.

Olawale said, “Gbadebo is rigged and he will always ensure he gets the job done.”

In 2019, however, the committee drummed support for the governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during his campaigns, however, the paradigm shift may be attributed to the wave of support the presidential candidate of the LP enjoyed in the February 25 election.
