Turkish Super Lig champions, Galatasaray have reportedly reached an agreement to trigger Victor Osimhen’s €75 million release clause.
The Istanbul-based club had previously seen two offers turned down by reigning Serie A champions Napoli.
However, they have now moved decisively to meet the striker’s full release clause, which remains valid for clubs outside Italy until July 15.
Osimhen, 26, enjoyed a prolific campaign on loan at Galatasaray during the 2024/25 season after a proposed permanent transfer away from Napoli failed to materialize last summer.
He racked up an impressive 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s domestic double triumph.
Galatasaray initially tabled a bid in the region of €60 million earlier in the week, but Napoli stood firm, demanding the entire €75 million clause.
According to Sky Sports, Osimhen is set to earn €16 million annually over a four-year contract, a significant upgrade from the €12 million he was paid during his loan stint with the Turkish giants last season.
