Galatasaray midfielder, Mario Lemina, has emphasized the need for fans to respect Victor Osimhen’s choice regarding his future once his loan spell comes to an end.
Osimhen joined the Turkish Super Lig giants on a one-year loan from Napoli in September and has since made a remarkable impact.
The Nigerian striker has been in red-hot form for Okan Buruk’s side, scoring 35 goals and providing eight assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray are eager to secure the 26-year-old’s services permanently, but Osimhen is widely tipped for a move either to a top European club or a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia.
“Today, he is progressing in line with the goals,” Lemina told Habersarikirmizi. “Galatasaray will want him to stay, but it is his decision; we have to respect it.
“First of all, I can say that I have a very good relationship with Victor Osimhen, as with all my teammates. When I look at Victor, he is one of the best strikers in the world.”
As speculation swirls around his next destination, all eyes remain on Osimhen’s decision as the season draws to a close.
