Super Falcons defender, Oluwatosin Demehin, has committed her future to Galatasaray after penning a new deal with the Turkish club.

The 23-year-old centre-back first arrived in Istanbul in September 2024 on a free transfer from French side Stade de Reims, where she spent two seasons before moving to Turkey.

Demehin quickly became a key figure for Galatasaray, making 26 appearances in all competitions last season and even registering a goal.

Her performances convinced the club to extend her stay rather than risk losing her on a free transfer.

The former Falconets defender played a crucial role in Galatasaray’s historic run in the UEFA Women’s Champions League last term, further enhancing her reputation at the club.

Confirming the deal, Galatasaray wrote on their official website, “Our Galatasaray Women’s Football Team extended the contract with successful football player Oluwatosin Demehin Blessing.”

“Demehin, who was one of the important players of our team in our Champions League success that went down in history last season, achieved another great success by winning the championship with his country Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations held this summer.”
