Flying Eagles skipper, Daniel Bameyi, has sealed a move to Slovenian outfit ND Primorje Ajdovščina.

The 19-year-old defender arrives from Abuja-based Yum-Yum FC and has committed to a three-year deal with the European side.

Club president Bojan Adžić expressed confidence in the Nigerian’s qualities, noting that his discipline and defensive strength would be crucial to their campaign.

“We are convinced that Bameyi’s professionalism and energy will add a new dimension to our team. He has exactly the kind of defensive attributes we need to push higher in the league,” Adžić said on the club’s website.

Head coach Milan Anđelković also hailed the youngster’s arrival, describing him as an integral part of their defensive overhaul.

“Daniel is a big addition for us. Alongside other recruits, his presence will help us solidify the back line and stay competitive at the top this season,” Anđelković remarked.
