First Lady offers message of hope to Nigerian youths

First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has urged Nigerian youths to remain optimistic about the country’s future with a promise of the rebirth of a new nation that will take its rightful place among the global community.

She gave this assurance at an event tagged, “Honouring the Youth of Our Nation,” with the theme: “Becoming: Pathway to Success,” in commemoration of the first anniversary of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, held at the State House Conference Center, Abuja.

The president’s wife emphasized the government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for young people to actively participate in national development and shape Nigeria’s narrative for the better.

She highlighted the importance of purpose, passion, determination, and resilience in achieving success and stressed the value of education in attaining great heights, according to Daily Post.

The First Lady also mentioned her pet project, the Renewed Hope Initiative, which aims to complement President Tinubu’s efforts in education, agriculture, social investment, and economic empowerment.

Her message of hope and empowerment has resonated with many young Nigerians, who see her as a role model and a champion of their causes.

She said, “Stay in school, finish school because we are a developing country. When you stay and finish your education, you will have more options.

“We will continue to do our best to provide an enabling environment to foster and support you as active participants in national development and in re-writing Nigeria’s story for good.

“I urge us to keep believing in Nigeria, by the special grace of God, we will witness the rebirth of a new nation that will take its rightful place among the comity of Nations.“
