Former Real Madrid star, Antonio Cassano, has tipped Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman as an ideal replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at Napoli.

Since joining Atalanta in 2022, Lookman has consistently delivered standout performances, becoming one of the club’s most reliable attacking threats over the past three seasons.

In an interview with Viva El Futbol, as reported by Tifo Juventus, Cassano urged Napoli to move for the Nigerian international, praising the winger’s all-round game.

“I would go and get Lookman, it would be a sensational purchase.

“He runs, scores, makes assists, and is trained by a great player like Gian Piero Gasperini,” Cassano stated.

Lookman was on target in Atalanta’s emphatic 3-0 win over Napoli in Serie A, netting a brace and earning an individual award for his efforts, a performance that further strengthened his growing reputation. (Rhythm FM)

Napoli manager Antonio Conte has also reportedly identified the Atalanta forward as the perfect long-term successor to Kvaratskhelia, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in January.

The 26-year-old is considered one of the most attainable high-caliber forwards currently available on the market.

Napoli are said to be ready to table a €50 million offer, although Atalanta are holding out for €60 million and remain open to selling him to the highest bidder.

Since arriving in Bergamo, Lookman has racked up an impressive tally of 52 goals and 25 assists in 108 appearances across all competitions.
