Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has declared her unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections, praising his administration’s leadership and achievements despite challenges.
Speaking through her spokesperson, Musa Abdulrahman, in a statement on Friday, Kennedy-Ohanenye described Tinubu’s leadership as bold, visionary, and committed to driving positive change across Nigeria.
“My support for President Tinubu goes beyond politics,” she said. “It’s rooted in a deep belief in his ability to lead Nigeria towards progress. His courage, focus, and transformative agenda have inspired many of us.”
She pointed to progress made under the Tinubu administration in areas such as economic reforms, national security, and social welfare, stating that these efforts have laid a strong foundation for Nigeria’s future.
“Despite the tough circumstances his administration inherited, he has initiated reforms aimed at building a sustainable economy, strengthened our security architecture, and expanded social safety nets,” she added.
In a bid to boost grassroots engagement, Kennedy-Ohanenye announced plans to revive her campaign platform, Naija Save Naija 2027, which she says will rally at least 10 million Nigerians to support Tinubu’s re-election campaign.

According to her, the movement played a crucial role during the 2023 elections by mobilizing voters, particularly people with disabilities and residents of underserved communities.
“Our goal of 10 million supporters isn’t just about numbers—it symbolizes a unified voice of trust and hope in President Tinubu’s ability to lead,” she explained.
The rebranded campaign, she said, will involve diverse groups across Nigeria including women, youths, traders, farmers, professionals, and the vulnerable.
It will aim to showcase Tinubu’s achievements and promote his Renewed Hope Agenda across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is more than just a campaign slogan. It is a framework for real development,” Kennedy-Ohanenye stated.
“I am confident that he will continue to deliver on his promises, and I urge Nigerians to join us in this journey towards a better nation.”
