Germany, Denmark, Spain, and Italy have all secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the ongoing UEFA European Under-21 Championship taking place in Slovakia.
The quartet progressed following the conclusion of Sunday’s group stage matches, which saw Germany and Denmark become the most recent teams to confirm qualification.
Germany triumphed 4-2 over Czechia, while Denmark edged past the Netherlands with a 2-1 victory.
With these wins, both nations have now joined Spain and Italy, who had already sealed their places in the knockout round.
The final four slots in the last-eight will be determined after Wednesday’s remaining group fixtures are played.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for June 21 and 22, with only half of the eight teams set to move on to the semi-final round.
