EPL: Bowen scores in 200th game as West Ham beat Ipswich 3-1

Jarrod Bowen marked his 200th Premier League appearance in style, finding the net in West Ham United’s 3-1 win over Ipswich Town on Sunday – a result that provided a positive end to an otherwise underwhelming campaign for the Hammers.

Bowen was at the heart of the action, combining neatly with James Ward-Prowse and Aaron Wan-Bissaka before calmly finishing to restore West Ham’s lead in the 55th minute, notching his 13th goal of the season.

Earlier, Ward-Prowse had opened the scoring after a poor back pass from Ipswich captain Sam Morsy allowed Bowen to pounce.

Instead of going for goal himself, Bowen opted to square the ball for Ward-Prowse, who made no mistake.

Ipswich, who return to the Championship after just a single season in the Premier League, drew level shortly after the interval through Nathan Broadhead.

However, Mohammed Kudus sealed the win for West Ham with a late strike, helping the East London side conclude the season in 14th position.
