Enyimba football club of Aba has won the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League title.
The George Finidi led side drew Rivers United 1-1 to be win the league for the ninth time in the club’s history.
The last time Enyimba won the league was in 2019.
Enyimba and Rivers run into the final day in a neck-and-neck race, although Enyimba lead the way on goals difference having scored seven goals and conceded three, while Rivers United scored five goals and conceded three as well.
