The Peoples Democratic Party has urged Nigerians to embody the spirit of selflessness, compassion, and generosity as part of a united effort to build a stronger and more prosperous nation.
In a message posted on its official Xaccount, the PDP extended warm wishes to Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe in celebration of Eid al-Adha.
The leading opposition party emphasized the importance of unity and prayer during this sacred Islamic festival, calling on Nigerians of all backgrounds, irrespective of faith or political leaning, to commit to the nation’s peace and progress.
“On this blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha 2025, we wish to extend our warm felicitations to all Nigerians, particularly our Muslim brothers and sisters, as we join the global Muslim community in commemorating the Festival of Sacrifice,” the PDP stated.
“Eid al-Adha reminds us of the profound lessons of obedience, sacrifice, and faith exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“As we reflect on his willingness to submit to the will of God, we are called to embrace selflessness, compassion, and generosity in our personal lives and in our collective pursuit of a better Nigeria,” the message added.
