The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has declared two additional individuals wanted in connection with a massive fraud allegedly perpetrated through the digital trading platform, Crypto Bridge Exchange.

The suspects, Folashade Odelana, aged 31, and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, 32, are believed to have played significant roles in the fraudulent investment scheme that reportedly swindled over 600,000 Nigerians out of approximately N1.3 trillion before it collapsed in April 2025.

According to a statement issued by the Commission on Wednesday via its official social media handles, the last known address of both suspects is No. 17, Oremeta Street, Allen, Ikeja, Lagos State.

“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear below are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the notice read.

The Commission urged anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Odelana or Abiodun to contact its offices in Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, or Abuja. The public can also reach the EFCC through the provided helplines or email address: [email protected], or by reporting to the nearest police station or security agency.

This development brings the total number of individuals wanted in connection with the CBEX fraud to 14.

An EFCC official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, “This is one of the largest Ponzi-style frauds we have ever investigated in Nigeria. We will not rest until all those responsible are brought to justice.”

The Commission continues to investigate the full extent of the fraudulent operations of CBEX, with ongoing efforts to recover funds and ensure restitution for victims.
