The Department of State Services has debunked circulating reports suggesting that it is currently conducting a recruitment exercise.
The agency, in a statement released via its official X handle on Wednesday, labeled the claims as false and urged the public not to fall for the misinformation.
Some of the misleading reports alleged that the DSS was accepting applications for roles such as electricians, plumbers, mechanics, and carpenters.
It was also claimed that the supposed recruitment was open to individuals with primary and secondary school certificates.
Reacting to the rumours, the DSS maintained that no such recruitment is underway.
In its official post, the Service stated, “The public is advised to ignore any misleading or false information about the service’s recruitment process. Disregard such claims, please.”
