Crystal Palace manager, Oliver Glasner, has revealed that his team has improved since the departure of Ebere Eze to Arsenal.
Eze, who rejoined his boyhood club in a deal worth up to £67.5 million last August, has yet to find his rhythm in North London.
However, according to Glasner, the Eagles have grown stronger as a collective unit following his exit.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Glasner said, “Crystal Palace, after selling Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze and bringing in Yeremy Pino and Ismaïla Sarr. This is credit to the players. This is credit to the team, not to the individuals. The whole team.
“As Crystal Palace, having the highest XG in the whole Premier League in front of City, Arsenal, Liverpool, all these teams, just shows how much effort this team shows every single game. Yes, of course, everybody who likes Crystal Palace would like to have Michael and Ebs still in the squad.
“We lost a fantastic player, and even more fantastic person. Looking forward to meeting him, but no friendship during the game. But on the other side, it shows that we can also create enough chances to score goals.”
The Austrian tactician emphasized that Palace’s recent form reflects teamwork and tactical discipline rather than dependence on individual brilliance.
