A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has found the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, guilty on three out of the seven terrorism-related counts brought against him by the Federal Government.
In the ruling delivered on Thursday, Justice James Omotosho held that the prosecution successfully proved parts of its case, pointing to recorded video interviews where Kanu issued violent threats against Nigeria and its citizens.
These pieces of evidence, the court said, substantiated the charges on which he was convicted.
