Chelle to invite 12 NPFL stars for Unity Cup in London

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is set to include at least 12 players from the Nigeria Premier Football League in his squad for the upcoming Unity Cup Invitational Tournament in London.

Among the local stars, Kano Pillars have officially announced that their skipper, Ahmed Musa, has received a call-up for the four-nation event.

Musa is expected to be joined by 11 other home-based talents, with names like Nduka Junior, Sikiru Alimi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, and Adamu Abubakar tipped to be on the roster.

SCORENigeria reported that, Chelle views the Unity Cup as a key component in his build-up to the African Nations Championship.

Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago are the other nations confirmed to participate in the tournament.
