Super Eagles boss, Eric Chelle, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to sustain their impressive form as they gear up for a friendly showdown against Russia.

Nigeria is set to lock horns with Russia in a highly anticipated international friendly at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Friday.

The encounter marks the first-ever senior-level meeting between the two nations.

Chelle has overseen an encouraging start to his tenure, guiding the Super Eagles to three victories and one draw in four outings.

As the team prepares for another stern test, the Malian tactician emphasized the importance of maintaining their winning mindset.

“Now we go to Russia, and our goal is to win every game. We’re not just travelling for a match — we’re going there to win,” Chelle told reporters.

“Right now, I think we’re still in Jamaica — mentally, it feels like it because of how tough the game was. But we must now shift focus.”

With their unbeaten run under Chelle on the line, the Super Eagles will look to make a strong statement against a Russian side equally eager to impress on home soil.
