British boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has revealed that he is working tirelessly to arrange a potential 2026 clash between Anthony Joshua and rising star Moses Ituama.
At 35, Joshua would be 15 years older than 20-year-old Ituama, a fighter Hearn describes as exceptionally talented.
The former two-time unified heavyweight champion could see the matchup materializing only if it were for a world heavyweight title.
“I don’t necessarily view a fight with Moses as the ideal challenge for AJ,” Hearn told Sky Sports. “There are a lot of factors. If Joshua wins, it’s against a 20-year-old. If he loses, it’s the same—and it could be career-defining. Moses is extremely skilled, and I hold him in high regard.”
However, Hearn stressed that Joshua himself might feel differently. “AJ would likely be very excited about facing Moses. And if a shot at the world heavyweight championship were on the line, we’d pursue it without hesitation.”
