A Benin High Court on Tuesday has sentenced 14 convicted internet fraudsters to jail.
This was disclosed by the Economy and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday through its official Twitter account.
The convicts were arraigned by the Benin Zonal Command of the anti-graft agency on various fraudulent charges.
The convicts are Gift Patrick, Lucky Paul Omofureta, Elvis John Mathew, Jeremiah Rebirth Umoru, Alex Aimuawosa Yuodegha and Daniel Mathew.
Others are; Edefe Isaiah, Ese Isaiah, Osas Igho Amos, Destiny Aghayere, Christian Oghenekewe, God’s power Osabuohien, Wisdom Christopher and Favour Osaghale.
