Arsenal star Saka engaged to long-time girlfriend Tolami Benson
England and Arsenal star, Bukayo Saka, has reportedly taken a major step in his personal life after getting engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Tolami Benson.
According to Daily Star, the 24-year-old winger proposed during an intimate, carefully planned evening at a luxury London hotel, presenting Tolami with what friends described as an “enormous” engagement ring.
Saka and Tolami, also 24, have been together since 2020, keeping their relationship largely under wraps until she appeared among the England WAGs at the 2022 World Cup in Doha.
By Euro 2024, their bond was unmistakable, Tolami proudly wore a jacket emblazoned with the number 87, honouring the shirt Saka wore when he broke into Arsenal’s first team.
The couple even shared a sweet pitch-side kiss during England’s goalless draw with Slovenia in June.
Fresh off helping Arsenal dismantle Bayern Munich earlier this week, Saka had even more reason to celebrate when Tolami said “yes.”
A friend told The Sun, “Bukayo went all out for the proposal. The ring is absolutely enormous. He organised a special night at a top London hotel, and Tolami was completely blown away.”
Tolami, originally from Hatfield in Hertfordshire, studied PR and Media at Birmingham University.
While Saka shines on the pitch, she has carved out a rising profile of her own, boasting over 200,000 Instagram followers.
She has been featured in London Fashion Week shoots and turned heads at the Fashion Awards last year, sharing the spotlight with stars like Rihanna, Maya Jama and A$AP Rocky.
