The Appeal Court sitting in the Federal Captial Territory has fixed Friday for the judgement in the appeal filed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

The development came as the Appeal Court, on November 6, reserved judgment regarding Yusuf’s petition challenging his removal by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, according to Daily Post.

The Tribunal had, on September 20, nullified the election of Yusuf by declaring 165, 663 of his votes invalid.

The three-man panel of the Tribunal led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan Osadebay declared Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Party, the winner of the polls.

Unsatisfied with the ruling, Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf approached the appellate court for a review.
