Ancelotti reacts to Real Madrid’s club world cup win

Spanish giant, Real Madrid on Saturday evening defeated Saudi Arabia club side, Al Hilal, to win the club world cup in Morocco.

The Carlos Ancelotti side won by five goals to three to win the tournament for the fifth time.

Madrid also won three Intercontinental Cups in 1960, 1998, 2002, and 2005.

Speaking after the game, Ancelotti said, “We are very happy, for the eighth time Madrid are champions of the world, it was what we had to do.

“We’re happy, it was a good game. We had a lot of quality up front.

“I think we were good up front, with Vinicius, Karim, Valverde, who got two, up top the team had mobility and quality.”

Earlier, Brazilian Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo defeated Al Ahly 4-2 to finish third.
