Amokachi, who once played for clubs like Everton in England and Besiktas in Turkey, shared his unwavering belief in Osimhen’s capacity to shine in the Premier League, highlighting the striker’s warrior-like spirit and adaptability.

Currently on a season-long loan with Turkish champions Galatasaray, Osimhen has been in electrifying form.

The 26-year-old has netted 33 goals and provided 8 assists in 38 matches across all competitions, reinforcing his status as one of the most clinical finishers in Europe.

His outstanding campaign has sparked interest from some of England’s biggest clubs, with Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly keeping close tabs on him ahead of the summer transfer window.

Commenting on the potential switch, Amokachi praised Osimhen’s resilience and all-round ability, expressing confidence in his success if he joins the English top flight.

“It would be nice to see him play in the best league in the world, the EPL, because any league that Osimhen plays in, he would flourish, no doubt about that,” Amokachi said.

“He has the quality in him; he has the warrior in him. He is a player that any club in the world would love to have.”

As speculation grows over Osimhen’s future, his exploits at Galatasaray continue to fuel discussions about his next destination.

A move to the Premier League, widely seen as the most demanding and prestigious football league, may present the ideal platform for the Nigerian to elevate his profile and test his mettle against the best in the game.
