Former Super Eagles striker, Daniel Amokachi, has been appointed to the Confederation of African Football’s technical study group for the ongoing 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Amokachi will collaborate with South Africa’s Walter Steenbok and Mohamed Magassouba from Mali.
Steenbok, who previously served as the technical director of the South African Football Association, brings a wealth of knowledge to the group.
Magassouba, who coached the Malian national team from 2019 to 2022, also adds significant experience.
In addition to the trio, international scouts Romain Albaric and Bennard Yao Kumordzi will contribute to the group’s work.
Together, this highly experienced team will provide insights based on their initial technical evaluations of the tournament, analyze tactical trends, assess playing styles, and identify emerging talents in the competition.
