Al Hilal coach Inzaghi reportedly renews push for Osimhen

Al-Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi is reportedly making another push to bring Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to the Saudi Arabian side.

Inzaghi, who took charge of the Blue Waves earlier in June, is said to be spearheading the club’s pursuit of the prolific forward.

Reports indicated the former Inter Milan boss has once again reached out to Osimhen personally in an effort to convince him to join Al-Hilal.

According to Italian outlet Il Mattino, the ex-Italy international told Osimhen that “his best destination is Al-Hilal.”

Despite turning down multiple offers from the club in the past, Osimhen remains firmly on Al-Hilal’s radar.

The Saudi giants have reportedly returned with a fresh offer, a lucrative four-year deal worth €160 million, which would place the Super Eagles star among the highest-paid players globally.

Al-Hilal remain the only club willing to meet the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s current contract.
