African leaders must leverage China-Africa summit for economic growth — Media consultant

Media consultant Charles Udeogaranya, who recently embarked on a tour of China with members of Nigerian mainstream media organizations, has urged African leaders to capitalize on the upcoming 2024 China-Africa Summit to forge the most significant economic collaborations globally.

In a press release on Monday, Udeogaranya emphasized that African leadership should shift their focus from seeking loans for government projects with minimal economic impact on citizens.

Instead, they should prioritize promoting Business-to-Business partnerships and direct currency swaps. This approach will create opportunities and affordability for local enterprises, positively impacting the people and leading to massive job creation.

Udeogaranya noted that China is the friendliest nation in the world, and their willingness to partner with African nations in a mutually beneficial situation is evident. He stressed that China deserves to be received and treated kindly as African brothers and sisters, and most importantly, as Africa’s best friend in the world.

In his closing remarks, Chief Charles Udeogaranya said, “The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in Beijing from September 4 to 6. This is a make-or-mar situation. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his African counterparts must seize the opportunity and get the best out of it. I wish them the best of luck.”
