Adeola, the long-missing daughter of veteran Nollywood actress Jumoke George, has finally been rescued and returned to Nigeria after being trafficked to Mali.

The young woman had been missing for four years before her dramatic recovery.

The breakthrough was confirmed by the Chairman/CEO of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who announced the development via X. “Adeola has just been received alongside Biola Adebayo and Niyi Johnson, who helped break the story,” Dabiri-Erewa tweeted.

Jumoke George had previously raised alarms about her daughter’s disappearance, tearfully pleading for information after losing contact with Adeola for several years.

The circumstances surrounding Adeola’s initial disappearance remain unclear, though reports suggest she left Nigeria in search of better opportunities before communication abruptly ceased.
