Adebola Sokoya Abimbola has assumed office as the new Assistant Inspector General, AIG, of Police in charge of Zone 17.
The zone covers Ondo and Ekiti.
The Zonal Police Public Relation Officer, Akeem Adeoye Tijani Momoh who stated this on Monday in a statement said Sokoya resumed work in the zone on Monday, February 20.
According to the ZPPRO, the arrival of the new Acting AIG was sequel to the recent retirement of the former Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Y.M Akeera.
