Oyo budget commissioner, special adviser resign from Makinde’s cabinet

Two officials in the Oyo State Government have resigned their appointments, including the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Ayobami Oluwaseun Ojo, and the Special Adviser on Budget and Economic Planning, Simeon Adegbola Oyeleke.

The two officials served under Governor Seyi Makinde and announced their resignations on Monday.

Ojo communicated his decision in a letter addressed to the governor but did not disclose the reason for his resignation.

Oyeleke, however, attributed his decision to an unconducive working environment and his inability to fulfil the aspirations of his people while serving in the administration.

Both officials stated that their resignations would take immediate effect.

They also thanked Makinde for giving them the opportunity to serve in his government.
