Nigeria’s Falconets head coach, Moses Aduku, has said his team is fully prepared for their opening game against Spain at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Group F fixture is scheduled to take place in Sosnowiec, Poland, next Monday.
The Nigerian side are currently fine-tuning their preparations after playing two friendly matches ahead of the tournament.
The Falconets were held to a 1-1 draw by the Korea Republic in a friendly on Tuesday afternoon.
That result followed their 1-0 victory over tournament hosts Poland in another warm-up match played in Brzeg last Friday.
Despite the mixed results in their preparation games, Aduku remains confident ahead of the encounter with Spain.
“Yes, we are ready. That’s why we are in Poland. We are here to take one game at a time, and we have no other game but to play against Spain. So, we are ready,” Aduku told NFF media.
