Nigeria’s Falconets have arrived in Poland as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian team, now settled in Poland, will use the final days before the tournament to sharpen their tactics, complete their preparations and build match fitness.
The Falconets had undergone an intensive training programme in Abuja, where they also played a number of friendly matches as part of their preparations.
Head coach Moses Aduku named a 21-player squad for the tournament shortly before the team departed Nigeria for Poland.
As part of their final preparations, the Falconets are scheduled to play friendly matches against hosts Poland and Korea Republic before the competition gets underway.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.
Aduku’s team will begin their World Cup campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec.
