Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed reports claiming she has reconciled with her former husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The speculation followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the former couple sharing a warm moment at a nightclub, leading many users to believe they had reunited.
Reacting to the claims on Monday via her Instagram Stories, Annie clarified that the footage being shared online was not recent.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
The actress’s statement appeared to debunk the widespread rumours, stressing that the videos being used to support the reconciliation claims were outdated and misleading.
The rumours gained momentum after the old clip resurfaced online on Friday, July 17, with many social media users interpreting it as evidence that the estranged couple had rekindled their relationship.
Annie and 2Baba, who have two daughters together, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after being together for more than a decade.
Since their separation, 2Baba has moved on and is now married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
