David Beckham joins billionaire club as net worth hits $1bn

Former England football captain and Manchester United midfielder, David Beckham, now reportedly worth over $1 billion, has officially joined the billionaire club, according to a report by Forbes.

The publication says Beckham’s expanding business empire, built through endorsements, investments, and commercial partnerships, has pushed his total net worth beyond the billion-dollar mark, years after retiring from professional football.

Forbes reported that the former midfielder earned around $100 million over the past year alone, driven by a mix of brand partnerships, fashion campaigns, sports-related investments, and endorsement deals across global markets.

Since retiring from football in 2013 after a career that included spells at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and other top European sides, Beckham has successfully transitioned into a global business figure with interests spanning fashion, fragrances, and luxury branding collaborations.

He is also a co-owner of Inter Miami CF in Major League Soccer, a club that gained worldwide attention following the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Forbes further noted that Beckham’s financial growth has progressed alongside his wife, Victoria Beckham, a former member of the pop group Spice Girls, who has built her own successful fashion label.

Regarded as one of the most marketable athletes in football history, Beckham has maintained strong global influence in both sport and business long after hanging up his boots.
