Police order tight security after Lagos robbery alarm

The Lagos State Police Command has instructed officers to intensify security operations along the Mile 12–Ketu corridor following reports of robbery attacks on motorists.

The alert came after a social media post by X user @lollypeezle on Monday, claiming that armed youths were attacking vehicles in the area. “At Mile 12 this morning, boys were robbing cars with cutlasses.

They even tried to force open my guy’s door. Between Mile 12 and Ketu, there are two police stations, yet we have the most notorious boys in that axis. Ijoba, e gba wa,” the post read.

In response, the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, said the Commissioner of Police had ordered immediate action to strengthen security.
