Nigeria’s Falconets are set to fly to Dakar on Tuesday ahead of the second leg of their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Senegal.
Moses Aduku’s team secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta last Saturday.
Kindness Ifeanyi was on target in the 51st minute to score the decisive goal.
Arriving early in Dakar will allow the Falconets sufficient time to prepare for the pivotal second-leg clash, which is scheduled for Saturday.
The winner of the tie will face either Guinea-Bissau or Malawi in the final qualifying round. Malawi and Guinea-Bissau drew 1-1 in the first leg last weekend.
