Juventus cruised to a commanding 5-0 triumph over Cremonese in Serie A, maintaining their flawless record against Le Tigri this century with four straight wins.
La Vecchia Signora looked comfortable from the outset, nearly taking the lead early as Jonathan David pounced on a loose pass but saw his shot cannon off the post.
The breakthrough finally came in the 12th minute, with Fabio Miretti’s strike deflecting off Gleison Bremer and wrongfooting Emil Audero.
Just three minutes later, Khephren Thuram raced down the flank and set up David, who calmly slotted home Juventus’ second.
Cremonese had a brief moment of hope when a penalty was initially awarded for Manuel Locatelli’s challenge on Dennis Johnsen, but the referee reversed the decision and sent Davide Nicola off.
Their frustration deepened when Federico Baschirotto handled Thuram’s shot in the box, allowing Kenan Yildiz to convert the resulting penalty after his first attempt hit the post.
Juventus kept up the pressure, with Yildiz testing Audero again and Weston McKennie heading wide from a corner.
The visitors’ woes continued just three minutes into the second half, as McKennie rounded Audero and Matteo Bianchetti’s clearance attempt deflected off Filippo Terracciano into his own net.
Despite further efforts from Cremonese, including saves from Audero, Juventus remained relentless. McKennie added another with a powerful header in the 64th minute, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
Michele Di Gregorio then denied Alberto Grassi, and Bianchetti’s subsequent goal was ruled out for handball, while David had a goal chalked off for offside.
With this win, Juventus climbed to fourth in Serie A, four points behind leaders Inter Milan but with a game in hand, while Cremonese remain 13th following their fourth defeat in six matches.
