Türkiye’s Fenerbahce cruised to a commanding 4–0 victory over Norwegian club Brann on Thursday in Matchweek 6 of the UEFA Europa League league phase, powered by a brilliant hat trick from Brazilian star Anderson Talisca.

The Turkish giants, who had been held to back-to-back draws in their previous outings, rediscovered their edge in Bergen with a confident and well-controlled performance.

Fenerbahce struck early when Kerem Akturkoglu raced onto a clever through ball from Nene and lifted a smart chip over the Brann goalkeeper in the fifth minute. From there, Talisca took center stage.

The Brazilian forward grabbed his first goal in the 36th minute, finishing from close range after Akturkoglu’s corner caused havoc in the box.

He made it 3–0 on the stroke of halftime, guiding in a well-placed effort from a Brown cross.

Talisca completed his treble in the 65th minute, rising to meet Levent Mercan’s delivery from the left and powering home a header to seal the emphatic win.

Brann struggled to trouble Fenerbahce throughout the match, with the visitors’ back line remaining largely untested and the goalkeeper enjoying a comfortable evening en route to a clean sheet.

Fenerbahce will next welcome Premier League side Aston Villa to Istanbul on January 22 as Europa League action continues.
