Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, has been named Sportsman of the Year at the 2025 GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards.
Osimhen earned the honour following his outstanding contribution to Galatasaray’s domestic triumph last season.
The 26-year-old delivered a remarkable 37 goals and seven assists across all competitions under manager Okan Buruk.
In the current campaign, the Nigeria international has continued his impressive form, scoring 11 goals in 14 appearances for the Yellow and Reds.
Expressing his appreciation after receiving the award, Osimhen thanked the organisers, his club, and supporters worldwide.
“I want to say a big thank you to GQ. Can’t forget my Galatasaray family. This means so much to me and my family. I appreciate everyone who has supported me up to this hour,” he said.
“I will continue to do my best for my family, for Galatasaray, and for fans all over the world.”
